"Sydow has a charismatic stage presence, and is an excellent songwriter, showing character beyond his years in both his lyrics and playing ability. With influences ranging from deep-south slide guitar, to jazz and funk, his songs take on an accessible, Americana feel, and he breathes life into traditional styles of music that allows for a new generation of fans, while still appealing to older-generations that grew up with blues, rock n’ roll, and folk music."

NOW BOOKING 2018
Twenty-six year old Andy Sydow is quickly becoming a strongly established facet in the local Colorado scene. He has played opening slots for Tab Benoit and Delbert McClinton at the Gothic Theater, Anders Osborne at the Caribou Room and Dick Dale at the Bluebird Theater. He's also performed at several festivals including the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Music Festival and been nominated for several awards for his piano playing and songwriting by the Colorado Blues Society.
Sydow's fourth release, Reasons For Departure (produced by Grammy nominated Colorado Music Hall of Fame Inductee Chris Daniels) is due out in May. This 10 track full length record is filled with richly detailed songwriting and melodies in the style of Jackson Browne, Jason Isbell, Dan Fogelberg and Jackie Greene.
Sydow has had several residencies around Colorado (3 Freaks Brewery in Highlands Ranch, The Summit Steakhouse in Aurora, Boathouse Cantina in Salida) and has toured the U.S. and Canada with his band, the Andy Sydow Band.

Andy and his band of rotating musicians put on a blistering live show that gears towards rock and roll with a mix of Americana and blues. While Sydow spends at least half of the evening on guitar, he'll unexpectedly jump over to the piano to show off his significant boogie-woogie piano chops.

"Having interviewed several singer-songwriters from around the US, it gives me pleasure to uncover a younger artist who is laser-focused on succeeding in the music industry" -NO DEPRESSION
"Reasons for Departure may be the best Americana album to come out in 2018. He's taken the time to hone his writing to a point where the 'personal' becomes the universal, the story he tells about his own life, are the stories that we all have in common. Plus he's a damn good musician and singer. This album is his best work, and I'm really proud to have played a small part in getting his music to a larger audience nationwide." -Chris Daniels (Chris Daniels & The Kings)
"Your worries melt away when you lean back into your favorite chair and let Sydow’s lyrics and piano playing whisk you away." -Bandwagon Magazine
